As many of you know, one of the main reasons I decided to run for Chairman of the Libertarian National Committee is because I feel the party needs to do a better job of identifying and supporting its candidates for political office. It is imperative that these candidates receive not only financial support, but that our party’s volunteers are being trained in the best and most effective ways to support their respective campaigns and are provided all of the resources to do just that.
This is a topic that I believe, if handled properly, can help benefit all involved. I think it’s important that libertarians everywhere recognize that there is an organization independent of the party that is already doing these things and more; The Feldman Foundation.
In the past year alone, TFF has had a number of successes. Through their efforts, two Libertarian Congressional Candidates were included in high-visibility debates at the last moment when others had seemingly given up. They assisted a mayoral candidate in El Paso, TX who walked away with a45% percent of the vote. They continue to provide consulting services to Senator Laura Ebke, Gubernatorial Candidate Larry Sharpe and a list of about 20 more candidates in the upcoming election cycle.
As you can see, TFF provides a tremendous amount of support that not only benefits candidates, but benefits Libertarians everywhere. Now it’s our turn to support them.
Today, I am calling on Libertarians everywhere to participate in the “I’m that Libertarian” Moneybomb to benefit The Feldman Foundation. This is your opportunity to put your money where your mouth is with regards to the future of the party, as every donation (no matter how large or small) will do more to help Libertarian candidates all across the country than anything we are doing as a party at this time, and the best part? All donations made with this effort are being matched.
This moneybomb ends on Monday, April 2nd.
Be the change you want to see. Be a part of the solution rather than the problem. Be “that” Libertarian. Today, join me in making a direct, impactful difference in the future of our party by supporting The Feldman Foundation.
